This visit aimed to ensure that operational standards, safety protocols, and maintenance routines on the ships were being meticulously followed. The General Manager of SVS Ltd Mr. Mark Hannis, together with Crewing superintendent Mr. Fred Mwalimu, undertook a comprehensive assessment of the vessels' condition, examining various aspects such as the efficiency of the onboard systems, the quality of the crew's living conditions, and adherence to international maritime regulations.
They interacted closely with the ship's crew, gathering first-hand insights into their challenges and needs, thereby reinforcing the company's commitment to maintaining high standards of operational excellence and safety in its maritime operations.
The visit also served as a crucial opportunity for SVS to strengthen its relationships with local stakeholders in Pemba, a key maritime hub in Mozambique. By engaging with local port authorities, agents, suppliers, etc , the management team sought to enhance these well established relationships thus ensuring continued efforts for smooth and efficient port operations going forward.
